Seafood by the Lake?? Try this one.. Restoran Tasik Indah, Shah Alam. Just beside Alam Sentral. We have been to this restaurant quite a few times and the food never disappointed.
Mummy and Aqilis
Restoran Tasik Indah view during the night
Restoran Tasik Indah is the place where you can get the seafood to be grilled, baked, steamed or fried in Chinese, Malay or Thai style. Yeah.. That's right! Lots of menu. Nice deco, great atmosphere by the lake and delicious, fresh seafood. You also can book online or call for reservations.
So what we have that night?? Big family (mine and brother, sister in law and nieces also) .... So big menu..... Spicy Tom Yam... Shark's Fin? (Say NO!! to shark's fin soup! ) but below menu all OK!! I love the lobster....

Pangkor Island Sunset
It was my non-diving trip to Pangkor Island with my love celebrating our First Wedding Anniversary. We just can't go too far as we left our 1 month old baby with his aunty.
So our first destination this year: Pangkor Island, Perak.
Sunset in Lumut and the Jetty Terminal
After a 3 hours drive from KL we arrived at Lumut town and stayed one night there at the Hotel Indah. A fantastic sea view hotel of Lumut naval base and just 100 metres from the jetty. Lumut just a small town, quite at night but very busy during the weekend as tourist come and depart to Pangkor Island. Lumut also famous for its beautiful seashell, coral handicrafts and fresh seafood. We had our dinner at Restoran Jeti, very delicious Beryani Ayam Madu and Beryani Kambing.
My Love at Lumut Jetty
We went to Pangkor the next day from Lumut Jetty, Mesra ferry at 10.30am. Only RM10/person for the ferry tickets including return. The ferry leaves every 30 minutes during the day. It took about 20 minutes to the ferry port of Pangkor Town. I also rented a scooter just for RM35 for a day so it will be easy to go around the island... You can also rent a taxi but too expensive according to some travellers review.
Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort
We arrived at Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort a bit early but the front office staff were so nice to let us checked in to our chalet. The chalet was so perfect just as they described. Fantastic sea view of Pantai Pasir Bogak and Pangkor Laut just perfect for our vacation.
We just couldn't waste our time... We changed our clothes, get our scoot and round the island...!! From the Pangkor Town (visit the Dutch Fort) to Sungai Pinang Besar then Sungai Pinang Kecil (fisherman villages) ...then Teluk Dalam. We had our lunch there and then went to Coral Bay and Teluk Nipah.
Coral Bay and Candle Light by the beach
Pasir Bogak and Pangkor Jetty
What a nice sandy beach of Coral Bay, Pangkor (Just like the Long Beach of Perhentian). We rented a boat to Coral Island for snorkeling. Most of the boat trip services will take you to this island for snokeling.
Back to our hotel, I made a surprise for my love- Candle Light Dinner by the beach. Pre-arranged by me and the Sandy Spoon Restaurant it was a perfect candle light dinner ever!! After dinner... round and round in Pangkor town again to see the nightlife of this tiny island.
Pasir Bogak and Coral Bay
Morning in Pangkor... Just so quite and silent.. Enjoyed the wind breeze and sound of the oceans. We went back to Lumut in the afternoon. Shopping a bit and head back to KL full of joy and love.....
