It was first ever island trip with family (Aqilis included!) at Tioman Island, Pahang, Malaysia during Eid Al-fitr long holidays.
Stay at Tioman Dive Resort, Ayer Batang Bay (ABC) and also dive with them as well. B & J Diving Centre in ABC is a 5 star PADI IDC equiped with bar and swimming pool. They also have a big boat and you will definitely like the 'giant stride entry' and fun diving experience with them.
It was my second trip to Payar Island Marine Park, Langkawi ex Swettenham Pier, Penang. My first time was 3 years ago but it was not so enjoyable compared to this one!
Payar Island can be reach by ferry either from Langkawi or Penang Island. For mine I just book from Langkawi Coral and depart from the Zone 2 next to the cruise ship bay.
After 1 hour and 45 minutes I reach Payar Reef Platform. I was surprised because there were no other tourist except me and 1 Singaporean couple. 'Owh ya.. it's a weekday and not yet a school holiday'.
Pulau Payar Marine Park and Reef Platform
Dive with East Marine Divers, Langkawi
After a while a boat transport me to the Payar Island. 15 minutes later a dive boat from East Marine Divers arrived, boarding the boat and prepare myself for dive. After 1 dive they tranport us back to the the island for lunch and follow by another dive..
Seahorse
Black tip sharks and beach view
Both dives was great. Coral bleaching is minimal and you can even sport more marine life here than other places on the west coast. I even spot a Seahorse! The wrecks is small but worth to dive to see the diversity of marine life and vegetation. For snokellers they can even feeding the baby sharks on the island.
Lion fish, Nemo and Wrecks

Dive with Rubiah Tirta Divers, Weh Island, Indonesia
Our 2nd Anniversary this year we went to Weh Island, Sabang, Indonesia near Banda Aceh. All I can say it was a romantic and exicting getaways. Weh Island and Freddies Santai Sumur Tiga it's like 'Heaven on Earth'.
Thanks to Pak Darlin for helping us get around Banda Aceh on our first time trip. The trip to Kapal PLTD Apung, Tsunami Museum and 'Kapal atas rumah' was amazing. The taste of Aceh local cuisine like 'Soto Lontong', 'Ayam Tangkap' and 'Mee Aceh' will stay in our mind forever..
Aqilis stayed with Nenda while we were on vacation
On Weh Island, Sumur Tiga is a perfect beach for couples, honeymooners and families. Crystal clear water and white sandy beach. Thanks to Pak Leman or 'Brother Leman' for taking us with his 'bechak' to see all around the island. Don't forget to try the tasty 'Mee Sabang', 'Bakso' and 'Sate Gurita'.

Dive Redang Island 2011
Laguna Redang Island Resort
Nothing could describe the pleasure of diving, swimming, snorkeling, dining and sleeping at this tropical island of Terengganu, Malaysia - Redang Island.
Our stay in Laguna Redang Island Resort so special because we be able to enjoy the whole long beach because other resorts were close due to monsoon season. Lucky the weather were on our side until the last day of our stay.
While in Redang Island, I made 4 dives with Laguna Dive Centre. Even a bit strong currents on my first day, the next day was very calm and good for my underwater shots. I'm be able to spot some nudibranch , turtles, puffer fish, moray eel and tiger shrimps.
This was also my first time using the Omega Flipfins from USA and I'm very satisfied with the performance. 5 star rating for my Mares Dragon BCD and Mares Abyss Regulator that be able for me to stay more comfort and longer underwater.
Spectacular dives in Redang Island, Terengganu
