We left the year 2012 without the 'End of the World' with a full celebration of lights and fun at i-City Shah Alam. Located near Seksyen 7 Shah Alam is a must visit place when you visit Selangor.

Tree with millions of LED lights
Aqilis and US @ i-City Shah Alam
i-City is a night theme park and there is much to do and see here, from shopping to snow filled indoor park, to beautiful neon lights that adorns the gardens. You may need to pay for the parking fees of RM10 and while entrance is free but you need to purchase a prepaid card to get into any ride or attractions. Well, I know most of it made of plastics but your kids will definitely enjoy it. It was unforgettable Saturday Night Lights ever especially the Giant Ferris Wheel ride. Now you can even visit during the day with the new attractions WaterWorld @ i-City!!

It's our Sakae Sushi first experience in Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya. Japanese food always be in my menu every each month as I consider it's very healthy and tasty cuisine.
I will recommend Sakae Sushi as one of the best Japanese food in town with the best decor and ambiance environment, unique style of digital ordering system using Ipad. It's very smart and convenient way for their customer.
They also have a kid's menu and Aqilis really enjoy it....
Craving for Steamboat? I find it's still hard here in KL or Selangor to find a nice steamboat restaurant. But if you are looking for it you will definitely find one even have to travel far like this Island BBQ Steamboat Restaurant. You will never expect to find quite a nice restaurant not on the island but in Kampung Melayu Subang, Shah Alam.
The best part : It's a buffet style restaurant! Eat all you can from variety of choices of fresh steamboat selections such as fresh prawns, squids, chicken fillets, meats and many more... Then you can either grill or self cook with tom yam soup. Price for adult Rm21.90 Children (6-12) RM9.90. Children under 5 eat for free! Call for booking 012-6800041 and you also refer to their blog for location map here.
We have been to Sentosa Island and Mount Faber before.. Universal Studios Singapore still can wait for us until Aqilis turning 4 years old but not the amazing Marina Bay Sands, Singapore!
Orchard Road, Singapore
Meanwhile Orchard Road, Singapore is a must visit place in Singapore mostly for shopping and good for testing your shopaholic level.. (I hope I say it right!)
MRT to Marina Bay
Night view of Singapore City and Marina Bay
My Luv @ Marina Bay Sands
And never ever leave Singapore without visit their new signature icon, Marina Bay Sands with spectacular view either from its skypark and the bay.

LEGOLAND Malaysia 1st Day Opening
Finally after a long wait, LEGOLAND Malaysia opens its doors to public including us that travelling back to Johor Bahru just to get here. We arrived at around 9am in the morning for their grand opening in a history as Legoland's first park in Asia a sixth in the world. I'm always a big fan of Lego toys since 5 years old and so glad that they are here in Malaysia close to my hometown.
Qaiser Aqilis first time experience @ LEGOLAND Malaysia
For me, LEGOLAND Malaysia is a fantastic place for families with 7 main parks, over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. Situated at Medini, Nusajaya Malaysia near Kota Iskandar very easily access from North South Expressway Exit to 2nd link to Singapore. Opens Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri and Sun (10am-6pm), Sat (10am-8pm) Closed on Wednesday. Well... I'm glad that Aqilis really enjoy it. Love the roller coaster rides!! Wait no more... Worth to visit. Believe me...!!

Another famous Middle Eastern-Pakistani Cuisine in the center commercial area in Putrajaya is Mr. Kabab and Beryani. It's also well known restaurant among government staff here in Putrajaya. I had tried Arabian food once in Cyberjaya know as Saba and this is not so much different. Maybe the interior design is much more attractive, easy to find parking and more comfortable dining area.
So my all time favorite will be Lamb Mendy Rice and Barbican drink.
Don't forget to try the Garlic Nan bread and the kebabs too!
Aqilis @ Mr. Kabab
Mr. Kabab & Biryani (Makanan Tradisi Arab dan Pakistani)
It was first ever island trip with family (Aqilis included!) at Tioman Island, Pahang, Malaysia during Eid Al-fitr long holidays.
Stay at Tioman Dive Resort, Ayer Batang Bay (ABC) and also dive with them as well. B & J Diving Centre in ABC is a 5 star PADI IDC equiped with bar and swimming pool. They also have a big boat and you will definitely like the 'giant stride entry' and fun diving experience with them.
